Supreme Queen Vesta Marshall was joined by Sherry Sims, Queen of El Karnak Temple No. 6 and Foundation Board members Ann Triplett, Muriel Knapp and Nancy Fuller as the second GOLD PLAQUE was dedicated on the Philanthropic Wall in Spokane Washington. Contributions to the Convalescent Endowment Fund enable Daughters of the Nile to support Shriners Hospitals for Children with donations of over $1 Million each year. A gold plaque is added to the hospital Philanthropic Wall for each $1 Million contribution. Daughters of the Nile now has two Gold Plaques in 11 Hospitals. The goal is to place two in each of the 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children. Earlier this year, a third Gold Plaque was added to the Philanthropic Wall of the Canadian Hospital. |
